Thank you for choosing our company for your shopping needs. We understand that a reliable shipping and returns policy is crucial when making online purchases. Below, you'll find detailed information about our shipping process and return policy to ensure a seamless and satisfactory experience.

Shipping

We offer nationwide shipping to almost any address. While most products are eligible for international shipping, please note that certain items may have restrictions. To know whether a particular product is eligible for international shipping, refer to its detail page.

Once you place an order, we will provide estimated shipping and delivery dates based on the availability of the items and the shipping options you choose. The shipping date estimates will depend on the shipping provider you select and can be viewed on the shipping quotes page.

If you have concerns about package safety in your area, we recommend having your order shipped to a secure address, such as your workplace. After we ship the package and it is scanned as delivered to your address, it becomes your responsibility to ensure its safe receipt. For added security, we can arrange for signature upon delivery; simply include this request in your order notes.

Keep in mind that shipping rates for our items are weight-based. The weight of each item is indicated on its detail page. To align with the policies of the shipping companies we work with, all weights are rounded up to the nearest pound.

Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, we offer a 7-day return policy for all items purchased from SMS Car Audio. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in new, unaltered, and unused condition. Please note that returns are not allowed after 7 calendar days from the delivery date.

There are certain items that are non-returnable:

  • Clearance or closeout section sale items marked as final sale
  • Lithium batteries due to federal shipping and storage regulations, unless damaged during shipping
  • Custom built items, including Alternators, Custom Acrylic products, Fabricated Custom Products, and wire that is less than full spool lengths
  • Digital media items, such as electronic files
  • Items that have been opened, mounted, or used

If you receive a damaged item or if there was an error with your shipment, please contact our Customer Support immediately. Defective items shipped by us or items you did not order but received from us are eligible for store credit or a cash refund. Refunds will be issued after we inspect the returned item, with a 15% restocking fee for items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed within four weeks after we receive your returned package. This timeframe includes the transit time for us to receive the return (5 to 10 business days), process the return once received (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process the refund request (5 to 10 business days).
