The ARC Audio Moto CX69 features a high-density pressure cast four-spoke basket with eight large hi-velocity cooling vents under the spider mounting plateau. This custom-tooled design allows heat from the voice coil to escape, ensuring optimal performance even in high-temperature conditions.
With a Y35A-grade ferrite magnet and a CNC-cut hot-rolled steel top plate, these speakers deliver a smoother and more accurate midrange response, improved overall accuracy, and higher levels of efficiency. They can easily handle their rated 125-watt musical / 300-peak power level with ease.
The woofer cones are made of injection-molded polypropylene doped with carbon to increase thermal stability and improve damping characteristics. The UV-resistant materials used in the construction of the CX69 ensures longevity, while the hi-clearance low-shore rubber surround and the form-molded dual-step sealed 1-piece dust cap contribute to its durability.
The speaker's spider is made of hybrid Nomex and features a constant wave progressive rolled design to prevent bottoming out at extreme power levels. It is bonded together with a high-temperature adhesive rated for over 230 degrees C (440+ F) to ensure reliability and strength.
The tweeter of the CX69 utilizes a highly efficient and sonically superior polyetherimide (PEI) and mylar dome design. With a 25mm voice coil wrapped around a composite Kapton mesh former and a neodymium slug, this tweeter delivers exceptional performance.
